Notes for Installation and maintenance of SCY Chiller

1. Safety must be ensured when the set is lifted and positioned, please do not let the set collide to ensure that the equipment is intact.
2. The installation site of the unit should be kept dry and clean, and ensure good ventilation. Please leave enough space for the maintenance and repair of the unit.
3. The unit must be installed on a concrete platform with sufficient strength and rubber mats under the unit. Level the set and install the ground screws.
4. The circulating water pump used in conjunction with the set should be selected and installed with reference to the water flow rate, water-resistance and other data marked on the set.
5. The water pump should be placed in front of the chilled water inlet and a filter should be installed to avoid the entry of objects into the heat exchange. If the unit is installed in an area with poor water quality, water treatment should be carried out to avoid damage to the heat exchanger.
6. The water piping system connected to the unit should be equipped with water flow switch, water pressure gauge, thermometer, etc., which is convenient for the inspection and maintenance of the unit.
7. To avoid air retention in the circulatory system, an air vent or expansion tank must be installed at the highest point of the unit’s return pipe.
8. Chilled water lines should be properly insulated to avoid cold loss and condensation.
9. The weight of the pipeline shall not be borne by the machine body. The water inlet and outlet interfaces should be installed with rubber anti-vibration soft joints and valves to avoid vibration and facilitate routine maintenance.
10. When the set is equipped with wires, larger cross-section wires with corresponding spare capacity should be selected according to the power consumption, and reliable electric control components and power grounding should be connected and installed to prevent leakage accidents.
11. Since the unit is protected by phase reversal and phase loss, attention should be paid to whether the line phase is correct during wiring installation. The unit cannot operate normally if the wrong phase is connected or the phase is missing.
12. When the unit is stopped for more than 2 hours in winter or more than 1 day in summer, the compressor oil temperature must be heated before starting the unit.
13. In winter, when the ambient temperature is below 0 degrees, the water pipeline will be frozen if the unit is stopped for a long time (about several days). The water pipeline construction should have the function of preventing the unit from being damaged by freezing, and the best way to avoid freezing is to remove all the water in the pipeline after stopping the machine.
14. The operator should observe the operating condition of the unit, and once an abnormal condition is found, please remove the fault in time, as the forced operation will cause damage to the unit.
15.
